After-Dinner Belly Soothing Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dried chamomile flowers
  • 2 teaspoons dried peppermint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons fennel seeds, lightly crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cut ginger pieces
  • 16 ounces of boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon organic, raw honey or maple syrup (optional)

Directions

  • Combine herbs/spices in a teapot or mug. Pour boiling water over. Cover & steep for 10 minutes. Strain the tea and sweeten it with honey or maple syrup if desired.
