Yields
1 smoothie
Ingredients
1-1.5 cups kale(off the stem) or spinach
1 red apple(peel on)
1 small seedless orange
1/2 a lemon
1-1.5 cups water or nut milk of your choice
1-2 Tbsp. chia, flax, or hulled hemp seeds(optional)
Directions
Rinse kale or spinach; take kale off the stem if using, rip up into smaller pieces
Core & cut up the red apple
Peel & pull apart wedges of orange
Add kale or spinach, apple, orange, juice of half of the lemon, seeds & liquid of choice into a blender
Blend until smooth
Pour into a glass
