Yields

1 smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1-1.5 cups kale(off the stem) or spinach
  • 1 red apple(peel on)
  • 1 small seedless orange
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • 1-1.5 cups water or nut milk of your choice
  • 1-2 Tbsp. chia, flax, or hulled hemp seeds(optional)


Directions

  • Rinse kale or spinach; take kale off the stem if using, rip up into smaller pieces
  • Core & cut up the red apple
  • Peel & pull apart wedges of orange
  • Add kale or spinach, apple, orange, juice of half of the lemon, seeds & liquid of choice into a blender
  • Blend until smooth
  • Pour into a glass 
  • Enjoy!
