Yields
1 smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup kale or spinach
1 green apple(with peel)
1 stalk celery
1/3 of a cucumber(with peel)
1/2 of a lemon
one 1 inch piece of fresh ginger
1-2 Tbsp flax, chia, or hulled hemp seeds
1 tsp real maple syrup or raw, organic honey(optional)
1-1.5 cup water
Directions
Wash, remove kale from the stem if using & rip up into smaller pieces
Core & cut up green apple
Cut ends off celery & cut into smaller pieces
Cut up 1/3 of a cucumber
Peel piece of ginger
Add kale/spinach, apple, celery, cucumber, juice of half of a lemon, ginger, seeds, maple syrup/honey if using and water to blender.
Blend until smooth
Pour into a glass
